Are you planning to come to Henley
Royal Regatta this year?
If so you can help promote your club and your rowers by providing us with some information on your club and members of the crew. The sort of thing we have in mind is a brief resume of your club, when it was formed, where you're based and perhaps a brief history of your record at Henley Royal Regatta. Also a brief biopic of each of the members of your crew with details of their record at Henley. We can't guarantee we'll broadcast it but there is a very good chance. We believe that there are many unsung
heroes out there who have spent many long arduous hours training and
with a story that deserves to be told. It
will be good publicity for your club, the rowers and
our sport, and make
knowledge of you and your efforts more accessible to all.
Regatta Radio enjoyed a very successful debut last year. We
are back bigger and better this year. We're sponsored this year by
Invesco Perpetual and the Daily Telegraph.
We see ourselves as primarily focussed on rowing and are aiming to give
better and more comprehensive coverage of the rowing this year. Our
studio will be in Leander's car park - pop by and see us. We're on air
from June 27th to July 15th and stream the broadcast over the internet.
When we're on air there is a 'Listen Live' button on the website so you
and your supporters can keep in contact with what's
going on at the 'Royal' even if you can't be there.
