This year Regatta Radio has been out in our local schools running an ergo (rowing machine) competition with local primary schools. The competition is sponsored by Invesco Perpetual.

Martin Unsworth, one of our Directors, is running the programme. He's managed to recruit Debbie Flood and Frances Houghton to the team. They have ably assisted by Laura Gater from the River & Rowing Museum.  They are Britain's Olympic Silver Medalists and the reigning World Champions in the women's quadruple sculls  (they've just won in the opening World Cup Regatta in Linz Austria as well!).

Below are some pictures from our visit to Valley Road School in Henley.

Debbie Flood encourages an emerging athlete.

Frances Houghton offers her support to another potential Olympian.

The queue's enormous - they can't have done this before!

"How did it go my boy?" Martin in the press conference after the event.
