Below is a series of images taken May 11th on the Regatta (and Festival) site. It shows tentage erection to be well advanced. The lawns are impeccable. No pylons are yet in the river, it looked as if this work was just about to begin.

What does strike you as you go around the site is the extraordinary attention to detail that manifests itself in virtually everything you see on the site.
